  Manali, Kasol, And Tosh!
5 Night 4 Days 3 States 2 Destination 1 Awesome Trip

Here is a story of one of my best Ride, There is this most common destination that we get to hear from people of our generation, Manali and Kasol. On the other hand, Tosh is not as popular as the first two! But, you know right? The bests are often kept a secret!

So, it all began on Friday night with a simple Facebook post saying “Bibek (my friend) is traveling to Manali with two others!” It was posted just minutes ago and in no time I called him up, asking about the plan. He informed it was unplanned for them as well.
That temptation that we have within ourselves from these places that we’ve always heard about! That little wanderer within has already made the decision already! I was in!
in not more than 40 mins I got my stuff cleared and got ready and within the next 2 hour I was on the road..after a long time..and what’s icing on the cake?? THE MOUNTAINS!

So we started at around midnight, cruising through the plains of Haryana and Punjab for the next 6 hours. And Punjab has already impressed me. Punjab is so clean and beautiful!

Next came the mountains starting from the Himachal Pradesh border. The scenic views mesmerized me and the 1000’s of corners uphill brought a wide grin on my face, not as wide as the corners though!
Another 10 hours and numerous stops for tea and fag we reached Manali.

Manali!
What a place! The ambiance, the architecture, the people, the spectacular views can make anyone fall in love with the place.
The hotels, food and especially the brownies and hot chocolates and other stuff that you don’t want to mention about were above expectations.

Kasol!
Small place, not so crowded, only a few months of hassle in the season. The place itself is a BLISS. Just sitting by the Parvati river can cheer you up and attract you towards mother nature.

Both places are great for shopping Local/Indigenous as well as some imports. Clothes and Accessories are the items that you want to look for!

Tosh!
Not very far from Kasol, just about 50kms uphill of Kasol, the Tosh Village is an isolated from any noise, mob, cars (yeah, you need to trek!) PEACEFUL would be the perfect work to describe Tosh in a single word.
This place has got some magic, you can sit by anywhere and admire the view, the nature for the countless hour. No work worries, no personal problems can reach this place. Things like this are forgotten here, only to have a great time with the loved ones and appreciating life!
I would call Tosh as PARADISE!

After spending 2 refreshing days in Tosh we headed back to Delhi on Tuesday 8 pm. Not to forget if riding uphill was fun, riding downhill took the fun to some other level. I’m sure Bikers will love this 300kms of Downhill Night Ride.

Hello!

Hello, Nozmul here. I’ve been riding a motorcycle for the past 11years roughly. But  I got a direction once I joined Assam Bikers 5 years back. Before that, I knew I love to ride. I just used to roam around on my dad’s motorcycle. But since I joined Assam Bikers, I learned what proper biking is!
Everyone can twist the throttle, but how you do it properly? safely? responsible? that’s something I learned from AB, from people who I proudly call brothers today, Mayur, Arshad da, Nilotpal da, Vikrant da, Partha da. I became a safe and responsible rider. By being safe means not only wearing the necessary safety gears but also minding the road, so that others are not affected when you ride.
I belong to Guwahati, born and brought up there, riding through the nook and corner of the city, honing the skills on the twisties of Ghy-shillong Road.
Currently, I reside in Delhi and Delhi being the center, I wish to take the advantage of being in the Centre of the Nation and travel North and South from here.
The first bike that I ever rode was my father’s Hero Honda Splendor. That gave a kick start to my passion, slowly as my dad upgraded his bike to Hero Glamour, that’s what I rode for the next couple of 1000kms before I first bought my first bike. The dream bike, The Pulsar 150cc! Rode the bike for good 7 months, pushed it through, as much as I could, before it was abruptly take away, stolen from me.
For the next few months, I rode my Dad’s Glamour, before buying the next beast, the new Yamaha FZ 16 V2.
FZ-16! Damn, what a bike! Have been with me through thick and thin. Never said no to anything, no matter how hard I pushed. As time lapsed, it no longer remains a bike for me, it became my extension. The bike defines me.
So, that’s my journey so far.
